With the theme of IRIS 2008 we aim to raise questions about possibilities, challenges, and pitfalls in the development of public systems in the future. Public systems in this context should be understood as systems directed to a broad user group such as tourists, and citizens. These systems are also characterized of a common interest with respect to user groups and the number of stakeholders. Examples of Public Systems could be different type of e-services, event portals (Olympic Games, The festival in Roskilde), and booking systems.
Thanks to all participants for their contribution to a great conference
