The working conference IRIS31 includes three themes which are a challenge now and for the future: Context, Participation and Services. They can be regarded as individual items, but they are also related to each other in many ways. The three themes can be approached from many different angels.
Future IT-applications have to embrace all facets of life. This means that developers and system designers have to understand and handle all types of contexts.
In third generation design, all that are impacted of a system have to
take part in the design. This puts new requirements on our development
methods and models.
IT systems and services appears in almost any sector and for almost any
purpose. The goal of future systems is to provide best possible services.
